How many regions does Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire include?

Like after you beat Hoenn do you go back to Johto and Kanto or are you just done? I never finished the game and I don’t feel like digging it out and playing it through to find out, I’m just curious. XD

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire only has one region. I know it sucks but in the Emerald version u can go to the battle froniter. But that’s about it for the ruby and sapphire game. Probably when the pokemon series ends nintendo will make the last pokemon game and u can create your own trainer and u can travel to all the regions ever created. I hope they do!!!
