Are there any old school Anime heads on YA?

You guys remember Robotech, Dallos, Tank Police, Akira, Captain Harlock, The Professional, Crying Freeman, Ranma 1/2, Fist of the Northstar?

Is there a rift between old school heads and new school heads? I talk to alot of kids and many won’t bother to check out anything before naruto, inuyasha, or any of the othe newtype fan fare.

What was your fav old school anime?
Bdig: I totally feel you, and when I try to recommend some good films I get looked at like a shriveled up ol’ man (almost like master roshi out of dragon ball z).
Piyoko: Please Please rent the original Bubblegum Crisis movies, BGC 2040 did it no justice. The movies are incredible, as well as the manga. Also check out Riding Bean if you haven’t seen that one already. :-)

Homestly I think there is. Too many kids just watch the new stuff and disregard the older series without realising that in a lot of cases they’re missing out on a fantastic story just because it’s “old”. I find that lots of young anime fans these days just flat out refuse to watch older anime because the animation quality isn’t up to the pace of computer-assisted animation. It’s a shame, really.

Of the old-school anime, Akira is probably my fave, if not just because the animation is FANTASTIC (still better than the Naruto of today!) but the story is brilliant. You always find something new when you watch it–there’s just so much detail in every scene.

Some of my other old faves are:
Burn-Up! W
Gunsmith Cats
Slayers (I’m glad they have another new series now!)
Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (unfortunately I never saw the original BGC)
Sailor Moon
Lupin III
Project A-KO
Ranma 1/2 movies
Tenchi Muyo
Street Fighter movies

I also loved the Sonic the Hedgehog movie way back but I can’t watch it these days :P

I remember the weekly 30 minute walk to the video store with my grandma to borrow anime videos, then the 30 mins back again. I burned through series back in those days! XD

Relationships should be a place for growth and comfort for both partners. If you feel you no longer want to be in a relationship, but feels trapped by her partner tight, that need to resolve to leave. No matter if your ratio is 2 months or 10 years, sometimes you realize: "This no longer works for me." Such Once you realize that the relationship is not healthy, or maybe you just want to move forward.

Anyway, you should never feel like you're trapped in a relationship, staying just to benefit your partner. This is not only unfair to you, is unfair to your partner, you need to find someone who really wants be with her.

Obviously, It is your obligation to let your partner know how you feel, so that both can proceed. However, sometimes not so simple. If you're partner is needed, sticky, and has a co-dependent relationship style, leaving you can feel almost impossible. This is compounded in the case of that man is conflict avoidance.

Unfortunately, the combination of needy girl and conflict avoidance is a common type. This is the reason why many men are trapped in an unhappy relationship. Do not let that man be you!

Instead of allowing the relationship to last forever, you need to establish a course to break. Although it may seem difficult, you can if you just follow a few simple steps.

Take time for you to gain clarity on the subject. You have to decide for certain that you are ready to go. Even if you're unsure, it is important to take some time for you right before the break. This will help you gain confidence in your decision and you will get from under its influence so. At this point, you can evoke something of the power that will take to continue.

Understand that you will have to go through with this. You may have existed in a relationship for years in which he did everything possible to please her, and despite all that, is to be hated from now. You just have to accept that if you're going to go through with this.

Upon returning from their time off, tell you that you have made a decision you need to leave this relationship. If you think you will go crazy, you may have to do this by phone or in writing (letter or email). Yes it's true: A letter or email can be the most appropriate way to do this. Despite what all the other break up article says that sometimes feels impossible to break in person, and is best done by phone or through a letter to wait several years while building courage.

Let him know that you know for sure that it is time to move. Tell him you do not repent of their time together, but he has felt this way for a while, and you know that she would like to do this as soon as possible. Be as compassionate as possible, but remember: Sometimes the feelings can not express logically. Do not get hung up on trying to answer all your questions – sometimes the answer is simple: "Sorry, I do not know why I feel this way, but I do. "

Take steps to remove as soon as possible. If you want to persist in talking about it, you may have to say that you wish to discuss the decision, otherwise you can talk about him forever. We do not suggest that two will be friends – that rarely works well, especially in these circumstances.
